Lviv with its rich history is far away from the idea of the majority of people, who travel to this post-Soviet city. Next Prague or Krakow, full of different churches, cafés and outstanding restaurants is at the beginning of the rise of tourism.

You can’t miss in Lviv

Coffee at every turn

We don't exaggerate if we call Lviv the city of coffee and chocolate. The former Austria-Hungarian town kept something from the Viennese coffee culture and the result is the best show of specialized cafes in Eastern Europe. Get your energy up to Svit Kavy, a traditional coffee-brewhouse, where they focus on the kinds of strong roasted coffee.

Dominican Church

The symbol of the city is dedicated to God's Body and is one of the most valuable Baroque monuments not only of Lviv but also of Ukraine. In the middle there is a large elliptical boat surrounded by a ring of chapels; the facade is adorned with a number of columns, statues and ledges. In the times of Soviet Union there was a museum of the history of religion and atheism in the church.

The Charm of the past

In Lviv you will return a few decades back and you will be able to remember nostalgia for the time past. The cars will pass you on the street, which we would call veterans. Try to order the Uber service - almost certainly will come to you stylish Volga or Mercedes of the 80s. Another rarity are the old trams, in which the ticket costs symbolic 0,19 EUR.
