Tatra slopes and Dolní Morava, also with the whole family
After a few hours on a comfortably heated train with Wi-Fi, where passengers receive refreshments at their seats, it is no problem to arrive in the Slovak Tatras with skis. On skis or snowboard, passengers can then enjoy perfectly groomed slopes with guaranteed snow. Skiers can use dozens of modern cable cars and lifts in resorts such as Tatranská Lomnica, Štrbské Pleso or Starý Smokovec. The resorts also offer their own ski buses and good ski pass prices. Ski schools with experienced instructors are available for children. Try the bobsleigh track, snow tubing or sledging at Hrebienok. The whole family will enjoy AquaCity Poprad with its thermal pools, waterslides and wellness facilities.
Family skiing is not the only thing you can enjoy after a train ride in the Czech Republic. In addition to well-groomed slopes, Dolní Morava offers the longest mountain railway in the Czech Republic, the Sky Walk, an exceptional freestyle and fun zone, and other experiences. The Kraličák ski resort offers 11 kilometers of slopes on one ski pass and a high-tech cable car.
