Spring Menu on Leo Express trains: Exotic Flavors and Fried Camembert with Tartar Sauce
Every Second Passenger Orders Onboard Refreshments
Prague, 25 February 2026
From February 25, Leo Express passengers can try the new spring onboard menu, featuring fresh seasonal flavors. Passengers will again be able to enjoy breakfasts, snacks, full main courses, and desserts. Even the youngest travelers will find something to enjoy. Last year, passengers placed 500,000 orders for onboard refreshments, with every second passenger purchasing something. At Leo Express, it is standard to order directly from the steward, with refreshments delivered to your seat. This year, the carrier also plans to launch online ordering via its mobile app. Leo Express updates its onboard menu every three months, offering passengers new culinary experiences.
"Passengers want to enjoy high-quality travel with fresh and tasty food. That’s why we regularly bring them new options to make their journey even more enjoyable. In the new spring menu, they can look forward to a selection of exotic and traditional Czech dishes, from breakfasts and snacks to main courses and desserts, as well as a choice of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages," says Petr Vrabec, Catering Specialist at Leo Express.
Onboard refreshments on Leo Express trains can be paid for in cash, by card, or using leo credits through the Smile Club loyalty program. Members also receive cashback for every purchase. Delivery to your seat is standard. The carrier plans to introduce online ordering via the app this year. Even after the launch, passengers will still be able to order directly from the steward, as they are used to.

Exotic and Traditional Czech Flavors
"As the first carrier on the Czech railway, we offer passengers the opportunity to try the traditional Japanese sushi snack, onigiri. It is light, nutritious, and perfect for travel. The growing popularity of Asian cuisine among Czech customers motivated us to include this specialty in our permanent menu," explains Petr Vrabec.
Onigiri is a rice triangle or oval filled with various ingredients, most commonly fish, vegetables, or lightly seasoned meat, wrapped in a crisp sheet of nori seaweed. The menu also continues to include sushi sets and chicken satay with rice. For passengers looking for a great value, the carrier offers a cinnamon roll or a hot dog, both priced at 1.1 €.
Leo Express also doesn’t forget classic favorites. At passengers’ request, a staple of Czech cuisine is returning to the menu – fried camembert with tartar sauce and grenaille potatoes, one of the most popular items in the onboard selection.
With warmer days approaching, Leo Express is once again offering authentic Italian gelato in three flavors. Passengers can also refresh themselves with a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
