Words connect the world. They build bridges between people, times, and thoughts. That is why we decided to dedicate the winter issue of our magazine to communication, that is the art of understanding and being understood.

If you are planning a journey, why not choose Warsaw. The Polish capital is a vibrant metropolis blending the past with the present and future. Leo Express will launch its new direct line Prague – Olomouc – Ostrava – Warsaw in March 2026. From December 2025, our daily trains will connect Prague with Krakow.

We will explore the world of encryptions and secret codes, and we will travel back in time to see how people have shared messages without words, writing or modern technologies. Words and language will be discussed in the interview with Anatol Svahilec, slam poetry champion, performer and wikipaedist. We will have a look behind the curtain of Leo Express operations to meet our dispatchers David and Gabriela who will show you the everyday communication which controls the movement of trains and busses.
