UFO over the castle

The impressive dominant of the capital of Slovakia is best viewed from the stunning, luxurious restaurant with a circular view named UFO. Take a boat directly from the city center to the nearby ruins of Devín Castle - from a cliff at the confluence of the Danube and Morava rivers, on which Devín stands, is a really nice view.

Bratislava Castle

The symbol and main landmark of the city is Bratislava Castle. It is located right in the centre of the city, so you can easily walk here. In addition to visiting the Historical Museum, which is housed here, we also recommend visiting the beautiful gardens and climbing the crown tower with a beautiful view of the Danube.

Devín

The remains of the Gothic castle are perched on a high cliff above the confluence of the Danube and Morava rivers and offer a breathtaking view of the natural scenery. It is no exaggeration to say that history has passed through this castle - it witnessed the rise and fall of Great Moravia and belonged to the fortress system of the former Kingdom of Hungary.

Waterfront

If you want to explore the young and modern side of the city, head to the waterfront in front of the Eurovea shopping centre. It's a place of gastronomy and culture, and it's also home to the Slovak National Theatre. On the other side of the river by the SNP bridge you will find the famous UFO lookout and restaurant.
