The historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe. The narrow cobbled streets, city walls and towers create the atmosphere of stepping through a portal into the 15th century. The old town is also dominated by the Gothic Town Hall Square, which still forms the lively centre of historic Tallinn.

Kohtuotsa viewpoint

Kohtuotsa viewpoint

One of the most famous views of Tallinn. The viewpoint offers a panorama of the red roofs of the old town, the spires of the churches and the Baltic Sea in the distance. It is from here that many iconic photographs of the Estonian capital are taken. The viewpoint is located on Toompea Hill, which has been the historical centre of political power in Estonia for centuries.

Telliskivi Creative Quarter

Telliskivi Creative Quarter

A former industrial area that has been transformed into a vibrant centre of art, design and street art. Today, visitors can find galleries, design shops, stylish cafes and large murals on the walls of former factories. The atmosphere of the district is completely different from Tallinn's medieval centre and is more reminiscent of the creative Berlin vibe on the shores of the Baltic.
