Spectacular seat
The monumental brick castle together with the castle gardens, terraces and fountains was one of the most beautiful settlements in Europe. During World War II, the castle was not destroyed but robbed by soldiers of the advancing Red Army - after which it was abandoned. Today the chateau is privately owned and open to the public.
