Leo Express launches a week-long 1+50% discount promotion

Second ticket at half price.

Prague, 14 September 2026

Leo Express is launching its autumn 1+50% discount promotion, offering passengers a 50% discount on every second ticket. The offer is valid for purchases made from 14 to 18 September 2026 and applies to all journeys on Leo Express long-distance services until 12 December 2026. Passengers can take advantage of the offer for autumn trips within Czechia as well as abroad. To receive the discount, they simply need to enter the code LE50 when purchasing their tickets.

Autumn is traditionally a popular time for trips and city breaks across Europe. With this promotion, we want to give passengers the opportunity to travel as a pair at a more attractive price, with journeys available until mid-December. The discount applies not only to our long-distance services within Czechia, but also to our international routes,” says Peter Köhler, CEO of Leo Express.

The promotion is designed for passengers travelling in pairs or larger groups and applies to the purchase of an even number of Economy Class tickets for the same service. Children, students and seniors can also take advantage of the offer, whether paying by standard payment methods or with leo credits. The discount also applies to travel in Sleeper Class on night trains operating on the Frankfurt – Dresden – Prague – Ostrava – Przemyśl and return route.

Passengers can use the offer on all Leo Express long-distance train and bus routes in Czechia and abroad for journeys until 12 December. They can, for example, take an autumn trip to Kraków, Warsaw, Bratislava or new destinations in Germany. They can also make their journey more enjoyable with the new seasonal onboard menu, introduced by Leo Express at the beginning of September.

Autumn trips to Kraków, Bratislava or Prague from just €2

Passengers can also take advantage of the promotion when travelling abroad. Leo Express has expanded its network of international connections this year, offering even more destinations to explore.

Thanks to the 1+50% promotional offer, passengers can enjoy a trip or simply set off for a new experience together at a very attractive price. A one-way ticket from Prague to Kraków is available from €7.5 per person, meaning that with the promotion, two people can travel from just €11. Kraków attracts visitors with its historic centre, Wawel Castle, the Kazimierz district and renowned Polish cuisine. Those wishing to travel even further can continue from Prague to Warsaw, with tickets available from €10 per person. With the promotion, two people can travel from just €15. The Polish capital offers a historic Old Town, modern architecture, museums and a vibrant culinary scene.

Passengers can also take a trip to Frankfurt am Main, where they can explore the historic centre and Römerberg square, stroll along the River Main or visit one of the city’s museums. Tickets from Prague start at €10 per person, meaning that two people can travel with the 1+50% promotion from just €15.

During a trip to Bratislava, visitors can explore the historic centre, walk up to Bratislava Castle or enjoy views of the Danube. With the 1+50% promotion, two people can travel from Prague to Bratislava from just €7. The offer also makes travelling within Czechia more affordable. Passengers do not have to travel abroad to enjoy an autumn trip. Tickets from Olomouc or Staré Město u Uherského Hradiště to Prague start at €2 per person, meaning that two people can travel with the 1+50% promotion from just €3. In Prague, they can explore the historic centre, visit one of the city’s museums and galleries or enjoy an autumn walk on Petřín Hill or along the Vltava River.

The prices shown represent the lowest available one-way fares on the respective routes. The price for two passengers reflects the 1+50% promotion, under which the second passenger receives a 50% discount on the fare. Availability of a specific fare depends on the travel date, service and current occupancy.

Passengers can enjoy a new seasonal menu on their autumn journeys

Since 9 September, passengers travelling on Leo Express trains can also enjoy the new autumn menu. The carrier updates its seasonal offering every three months and regularly introduces new dishes reflecting the time of year.

Passengers can try dishes such as pumpkin cream soup, Butter Chicken, dumplings filled with smoked meat served with two types of cabbage, or Szeged goulash with dumplings. For something sweet, the menu includes brownies, Häagen-Dazs ice cream and Čokomalina cheesecake, which has long been one of the best-selling cakes at Ollies, a confectionery based in Ostrava.

The food and drink selection varies depending on the route and type of service. Passengers can therefore check the menu available on their route in advance here.

Terms and conditions of the 1+50% promotion

The promotion is valid from 14 to 18 September 2026 until 23:59:59 for journeys completed no later than 12 December 2026. The 50% discount applies to every second ticket when purchasing an even number of tickets for the same service in Economy Class or in a Sleeper Class couchette. When combining different fares, the discount is applied to the cheaper ticket in each pair.
