🎄🇵🇱 Christmas Connections to Poland
Set off with us on a Christmas trip or a city break to Poland! Starting 14 December, we’re also boosting our popular train connections to Kraków, which we now run daily and on selected days, twice a day. We’ve listened to our customers and added services departing and arriving after 2 p.m. Take advantage of the perfect opportunity to try our new route and enjoy the festive atmosphere abroad.

Olomouc
The Olomouc Christmas Markets are one of the most popular Advent events in Moravia, attracting thousands of visitors every year. They take place on the Upper and Lower Square and offer a wide range of traditional delicacies, regional products and Christmas decorations. A popular attraction is the skating rink in the centre of the town.
Kraków
Are you tempted to travel to Poland for Christmas? In the historic surroundings of Krakow's main square, there are dozens of stalls selling traditional Polish products, handicrafts and Christmas decorations. There are traditional grilled sausages, pierogi and hot drinks such as mulled wine and mead.
Prague
The Christmas markets in Prague's Old Town Square are among the most beautiful in Europe, attracting visitors with their magical atmosphere and rich offer. They are dominated by the magnificent Christmas tree, which is illuminated every year, and set against the historic backdrop of the Prague Astronomical Clock and the Church of the Mother of God before Týn.

The recipient can choose the date and destination and maybe even take you along. You can buy the gift voucher online in your Smile Club account or at any of our ticket offices.
This year, we had planned to offer special Christmas trains to Warsaw. However, during the approval process, we were assigned time slots that unfortunately did not allow us to provide sufficiently convenient connections or the overall level of service we want to guarantee to our passengers. Under these circumstances, we would not have been able to maintain the standard our customers expect, and therefore we have decided not to operate these trains this year.
All passengers who have already purchased tickets will receive a 100% refund, and as a thank-you for their trust, an additional 50% of the ticket price in leo credits. We are also very much looking forward to launching full service on the Warsaw line from March 1st.
